Side Pokédex
In Pokémon Vortex, the Side Pokédex is a collection of special Pokémon which are inspired from Pokémon that only appeared within the Pokémon animated series and the spin-off video games. These Pokémon only come in Normal variant, they do not have the other usual 5 variants; Dark, Metallic, Mystic, Shadow or Shiny.
The Pokémon within the Side Pokédex can be found in the wild as roaming spawns at legendary rarity that rotate on a monthly basis with a fixed order. Players can see the current and next Roamer of the Month on the in-game Dashboard along with a countdown of how long is left to find the current one.
Catching Side-Dex Pokemon
Currently, there are 17 Side-dex Pokemon which spawn as roamers during their time as Roamer of the Month. These Pokemon rotate in an order, if players miss out on one of them, they will be able to catch them again after 17 months during which the other Side-dex Pokemon will be Roamer of the Month.
For example, Mewtwo (Shadow) was available during the month of October, 2025. The next time it will be available in the month of March, 2027 to catch as Roamer of the Month as a roaming spawn.
