Darkrown is a dual-type Dark/Ghost Pokémon and one of the few Fake Pokémon ever introduced in game. It has a great resemblance to Darkrai. Darkrown is not known to evolve.
Locations
Darkrown can be caught on all ghost/psychic maps during the night and on all electric maps during the night.
It can be caught at any level between 50 and 75 and can be found in six variants on Pokémon Vortex; Normal, Shiny, Dark, Mystic, Metallic and Shadow Variants.
Availability
Darkrown is currently available within Pokémon Vortex through the following methods:
- Capture (After completion of Gyms, Elite 4, Champions, Battle Frontiers, Battle Maisons)
- Trade
Types Currently Available
Darkrown is currently available in six types on Pokémon Vortex; Normal, Shiny, Dark, Mystic, Metallic and Shadow.

Shiny Darkrown Shiny |
Dark Darkrown Dark |
Mystic Darkrown Mystic |
Metallic Darkrown Metallic |
Shadow Darkrown Shadow |
Types Not Available
With the game transition from Version 2 to Version 3, Ancient Pokémon were replaced with Metallic Pokémon. This change made it currently impossible to obtain the Ancient version of Darkrown and every other Pokémon.
It is unsure whether these will be seen in the game again but development shows no interest of ever bringing them back.
