Pidgey (Japanese: ポッポ Poppo) is a dual-type Normal/Flying Pokémon. It evolves into Pidgeotto starting at level 18, which evolves into Pidgeot starting at level 36. From there it evolves into Pidgeot (Mega) using Pidgeotite. (Mega evolution is not reversible in Pokémon Vortex).

Locations

Pidgey can be caught on all grass maps during the day and night.

It can be caught at any level between 5 and 20 and can be found in all 6 variants.

Availability

Pidgey is currently available within Pokémon Vortex through the following methods:

• Capture (Before all Gyms, Elite 4's, Battle Frontier's, Battle Maison complete)
• Starter (Available at the beginning of the game)
• Trade

With the game transition from Version 2 to Version 3, Ancient Pokémon were replaced with Metallic Pokémon. This change made it currently impossible to obtain the Ancient version of Pidgey and every other Pokémon.

It is unsure whether these will be seen in the game again but development shows no interest of ever bringing them back.

Ancient

Pink Pokémon are exclusive to Orange Islands Sidequests which makes them unobtainable to players.

It is unsure whether these will be seen in the game.
