Mystery Boxes are an Item available in the Vortex Store, they were first introduced in Pokémon Vortex v4 and are currently available to purchase in quantities of 12, 25 and 70.
Each box contains a combination of items, pokédollars and a premium avatar, with the items ranging from common to ultra rare. Boxes are randomly divided into three categories of ascending rarity upon opening: bottom tier, middle tier and top tier, these determine what items it will contain.
When Mystery Boxes are purchased, they will be delivered as a Promo Code, which can then be claimed and opened, given to another user to claim or sold on PokéBay.
