Achievements: Difference between revisions

Achievements were an addition to [[Pokémon Vortex]] v3. In their initial release, they were solely based on account progression and awarded profile ribbons. Various account milestones such as 100, 1,000 and 10,000 wins were the criteria to unlock these achievements.

 

In v6, achievements returned with a new system similar to gaming platforms achievements such as Steam, PlayStation and Xbox in that achievements had quirky titles and images with the possibility of their unlock criteria being hidden and not shown to the user until they had unlocked it. This new approach to achievements allowed for the return of account-progression milestone achievements such as ''Win x amount of battles'' or ''Catch x amount of Pokémon'' but also allowed for a new type of achievement that tied in closely to core game mechanics such as throwing Pokéballs or using specific attacks. With this new system, some achievements also had additional hidden rewards such as [[List of Avatars|avatars]] or Pokédollars.

 

Below is a list of achievements available as of Pokémon Vortex v6. It is unknown whether more will be added in future updates.
