Today, you will be using all of the work you have produced this week to help you write a balanced argument. Think about your success criteria and the things you need to talk about (refer to your plan!). You must write in full sentences and in full paragraphs as you would if you were in school.

Was Friar Lawrence Responsible for the Deaths of Romeo and Juliet?

Friar Lawrence is a priest. This priest was born Verona on the 1500. He wants the Capulets and Montagues to be friends and stop the fiery feud between these two idiotic families. He also wants to help the son of Lord and Lady Montague, Romeo and the daughter of Lord and Lady Capulet, Juliet to be together because he thinks that will stop the feud.

Two reasons the Friar is responsible for the deaths of two teenagers, Romeo and Juliet. Firstly, this Friar got them married way too quickly strengthening their live for each other making them do more risks for each other. Secondly, he could’ve planned all this that has happened even the deaths of Mercutio and Tybalt as well as Romeo and Juliet’s deaths.

Two reasons he isn’t responsible for the deaths of two teenagers, Romeo and Juliet. On one hand, Friar Lawrence is a man of God, he would never turn against God and disobey one of Ten Commandments because they’re the rules of life. On balance, if he wanted to kill them he could’ve killed them when they were married or any other chance he was alone with them.

In conclusion, he is partly responsible for the deaths of two teenagers called Romeo and Juliet. He is responsible because he could’ve made sure he sent the worst monk to send the letter so it wouldn’t send it on time. He isn’t responsible because he’s friends to them and someone would never kill their own friends especially a man of God. I think he’s not responsible for their deaths because he could’ve killed them as soon as he met them but he didn’t.
