Christmas Events: Difference between revisions

The Christmas Events in Pokemon Vortex take place each year during the time of Christmas. The Christmas Events allow players to obtain Christmas forms of existing Pokemon either by hunting or the Quiz Shop. Additionally, other smaller events are also run during this time such as Double Experience gain after trainer battles or exclusive auctions.

Tokens

Christmas events tend to revolve around claiming the event Pokemon with tokens that can be earned by various methods - normally by catching/evolving the regular forms of the corresponding Pokemon, logging into the game, completing a certain sidequest region (chosen according to the event) or a 1% chance from the Season Battle Tower. The variant of Pokemon caught/evolved determines the amount of tokens obtained. The amount of tokens required to claim a Pokemon depends on the variant chosen.

A Glowing Christmas 2024

The Christmas event for the year 2024 was "A Glowing Christmas" which introduced a new ~~yet old!~~ (Christmas) form, Stantler (Christmas). Stantler (Christmas) was available for purchase using Christmas Token from December 18th at 00:00 UTC at the event center.

Christmas Tokens could be earned through the following ways:

Task	Amount
Log in rewards - Each day you log into the game from Dec 1st to Dec 30th	1 Token
Evolve any variant of Stantler into Wyrdeer	1 Token
Catch a Normal Stantler	1 Token
Catch a Dark/Mystic/Metallic Stantler	2 Tokens
Catch a Shiny/Shadow Stantler	3 Tokens
Season Battle Tower wins - 1 in 100 chance	5 Tokens
Complete the Johto Sidequests	20 Tokens

Additionally the following bonuses also took place:
Dec 20th 00:00 - Dec 27th 23:59 UTC - Star Sweets appeared at random intervals on PokéBay.
Dec 25th 00:00 - Dec 25th 23:59 UTC - Furfrou (Star) exclusive auctions was listed hourly, on the hour.
Dec 13th 16:05 - Dec 30th 23:59 UTC - Caterpie (Christmas) was available in the ⁠quiz shop.

Snowy Sinnoh 2023

The Christmas event for the year 2023 was named as "Snowy Sinnoh", this event brought back Eevee (Christmas) along with two new Pokemon, Glaceon (Christmas) and Leafeon (Christmas). Eevee (Christmas) could be purchased from the Events Tab with Christmas Tokens.

Season Battle Tower wins - 1 in 100 chance	5 Tokens
