In Pokémon Vortex, regional forms of certain Pokémon can be obtained. To be able to encounter Alolan forms, a player must first obtain the Alola Legendary Ribbon. However to evolve a regular Pokémon into an Alolan form, players must be within the Alola region of Sidequests. If the player passes the Alola region, these forms will become unavailable until sidequests are reset and completed up to Alola again.
