During this special event, players were required to battle their way through the sidequests up until the [[Sinnoh]]. Once players had completed the battles, they had the option of exchanging all of their [[Sidequests|Sidequest]] ribbons and progress for a Splash plate.  
For this special event, you must complete the sidequests all the way up to the end of [[Sinnoh]], once you have done this, you will have the option to exchange all of your [[Sidequests|Sidequest]] ribbons and progress for a Splash plate.
Players could then use this Splash Plate to transform any variant of [[Arceus]] into an [[Arceus (Water)]]. Players can change the form of any variant of Arceus such as [[Normal_(Variant)|Normal]], [[Shiny_(Variant)|Shiny]], [[Dark_(Variant)|Dark]], [[Mystic_(Variant)|Mystic]], [[Metallic_(Variant)|Metallic]] and [[Shadow_(Variant)|Shadow]].
Use this Splash Plate to transform your regular [[Arceus]] into an [[Arceus (Water)]]. You can change the form of any variant of your Arceus such as [[Normal_(Variant)|Normal]], [[Shiny_(Variant)|Shiny]], [[Dark_(Variant)|Dark]], [[Mystic_(Variant)|Mystic]], [[Metallic_(Variant)|Metallic]] and [[Shadow_(Variant)|Shadow]].
Each Splash Plate only had only one use, so players were advised to pick carefully. It was possible to obtain more splash plates, but, players had to re-do the sidequests through the Sinnoh region to exchange the Ribbons for a Splash plate.
Each Splash Plate only has one use, so use it sparingly - To get another, you must complete Sidequests right back to the end of Sinnoh again to exchange the Ribbons for a Splash plate.
