- ENGLISH ONLY
This is an English language website with English speaking mods, so we ask that you please speak in English so that we can moderate you properly and keep the chat organized. However there are Optional Channels for Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish , and Nederlands.
- FLAMING
Do not insult other members, treat people with respect and you will receive respect.
- PROFANITY
This website is meant for all ages, keep your mouths clean while visiting please.
- SPAMMING
Please do not spam the chat. This includes inflated punctuation, excessive use of the same letters, gibberish, etc.
- CAPSLOCK
Please do not use excessive caps, it is not necessary.
- FLOODING
You are allowed to post 4 lines of text per 6 seconds, please do not exceed this limit.
- LINKS
Please do not post links unless the URL is of our own or if the website is in our whitelist. Whitelist: (Coming soon)
- THIS IS NOT A DATING SITE
Do not come into the chat trying to "hook up" with girls or boys, that is not what our IRC server exists for.
- KEEP IT PG
Again this is a website meant for all ages, so please do not discuss unpleasant matters in the chat. This includes sexual discussions, gore, etc.
- PUNCTUATION MODERATION
When using punctuation, please limit yourself to one or two of the same punctuation. Something like "!!!??!?!..", or anything similar isn't acceptable and is related to spam.
- TASTEFUL FONT COLORS
Vortex Battle Arena uses LightIRC with a black background, so please don't use really light text colors that cannot be read without highlighting it, or that will hurt peoples eyes. Feel free to use any other kind colors. Try to use colors that doesn't hurt eyes.
- POSING
Don't pose as a channel operator, or one of Vortex Battle Arena's staff. Doing this will result in a ban in addition to a kick.
- OP Commands
Don't use operator commands. It's obvious that they won't work if you're not a operator.
- GLITCHES/BUGS
Don't try to share glitches, or talk about them, it will only get you banned. Severe cases may lead to a permanent ban from all of our channels.
- ADVERTISING
Do not advertise ANYTHING in our channels please.
- SCAMMERS
Please report scammers. Print-screen the proof and send the details to a channel operator in a private message. However, don't start a war with the scammer in the Channel to avoid spam of any kind.
- TRADING
PokemonVortex is for general discussion only, please trade in #Trades. Repeated offenses against this rules will result in a ban.
- COMMAND ABUSE
Any form of abuse using our customized bot commands will result in a ban.
- USE YOUR RESOURCES
Before you go asking questions about anything in-game, forum based, or chat room related, please use your resources. Type ~help for basic in-game information, visit our FAQ for more in-game/forum information, and type (In the chat room) /ns help or /cs help for any IRC help you may need.
Trade Rules
- OFFER SPAM
Don't keep repeating your 'offers'. This disturbs allot of people and causes disruption, keep it within our repeat time limit, possibly longer.
- FRAUD TRADES
Don't trade things from different games, or Vortex Battle Arena accounts. Considering this can be a scam, it is forbidden.
Trivia Rules
- FLOODING ANSWERS
If you answer correctly, the bot will respond the first time, so wait it out.
- LAG TIME
If you think you said the answer first, but another person got it right, it's because you're lagging or you have typed your answer incorrectly. You can use the /ping command to check your lag time.
- TRADING
PokemonTrivia is for trivial game only, please trade in #Trades. Repeated offenses against this rules will result in a ban.
