Kyurem (Japanese: キュレム Kyurem) is a dual-type Dragon/Ice Legendary Pokémon. While it is not known to evolve into or from any Pokémon, it has two other formes, which are activated by using the DNA Splicers on it and either Reshiram or Zekrom, resulting in a process called Absofusion that removes Reshiram or Zekrom from the party until the fusion is undone. It will then become White Kyurem (with Reshiram) or Black Kyurem (with Zekrom).

Locations

Kyurem can be caught on all cave land maps and ice maps during the day and night.

It can be caught at any level between 50 and 80 and can be found in it's Normal, Shiny, Dark, Mystic, Metallic and Shadow variants.

Availability

Kyurem is currently available within Pokémon Vortex through the following methods:

Capture (After completion of Gyms, Elite 4, Champions, Battle Frontiers, Battle Maisons)
Trade

With the game transition from Version 2 to Version 3, Ancient Pokémon were replaced with Metallic Pokémon. This change made it currently impossible to obtain the Ancient version of Groudon and every other Pokémon.

It is unsure whether these will be seen in the game again but development shows no interest of ever bringing them back.
