Caterpie (Christmas) is a dual-type Bug/Dark Pokémon. It is the only form of Caterpie designed by Pokémon Vortex as a holiday event Pokémon.
It was one of 6 Fake Pokémon (Fakémon) that were brought forward from v2 to v3 along with Mewtwo (Armor), Rotom (Halloween), Darkrown, Dratinire, Dratinice and Dratinilic

Caterpie (Christmas) cannot be caught on the maps.

Caterpie (Christmas) is currently available within Pokémon Vortex through the following methods:

It was available through a past event for Christmas 2014 which ended on December 27th 2014.

With the game transition from Version 2 to Version 3, Ancient Pokémon were replaced with Metallic Pokémon. This change made it currently impossible to obtain the Ancient version of Caterpie (Christmas) and every other Pokémon.
It is unsure whether these will be seen in the game again but development shows no interest of ever bringing them back.
