Mr. Rime Event[edit]
The Mr. Rime event took place on 1st April 2020 and gave players their first glimpse of live maps on Pokemon Vortex. During this event, users were able to capture the previously unreleased Pokemon Mr. Rime. The event lasted 24 hours and a total of 587 Mr. Rimes were caught during this time.
Event Details[edit]
Users started their live map adventure in a house, which after exiting lead them to a live version of the grass maps. Pokemon encounters here were different to the classic Vortex procedure with Pokemon popping up in the centre of the screen to alert the player as they appeared. All Pokemon, including Mr. Rime could be found in grassy areas, or similar locations depending on the terrain type.
Mr. Rime was in the category "rare" regarding spawn rates.
Availability[edit]
Mr. Rime has since been released in the Pokémon Vortex v5 update. It evolves from Mr. Mime (Galarian) at level 42.
