Volcanion Event

Volcanion was released on all fire maps during both the day and night from the 11th of November, 2014 to the 12th of November, 2014. This event was in celebration of some solved server issues that had persisted through a couple of days. Volcanions could have been found in their Normal, Shiny, Dark, Mystic, Metallic and Shadow variants. All had the appearance rate of every other legendary Pokemon.

Christmas Event

Caterpie (Christmas) was released on all grass maps only during the night on the 25th of December, 2014. Caterpie (Christmas) had an appearance rate like every legendary Pokemon. This event lasted until the 27th of December, 2014.

New Year Event

On the 2nd of January, 2015, all players received an Event Ticket, which allowed the player to open the Event Center. Players were required to catch every normal form of Unown to get one random Pikachu Cosplay. This event ended on the 13th of January, 2015.

The first day to like, comment, and share the post was the 27th of January, 2015. The dead line to like, comment, and share the post was the 12th of February, 2015.

Chat Event #1

In celebration of the new ICR Pokemon Vortex Chat Room, the admins of Pokemon Vortex conducted a giveaway of a random Pokemon ever 30 to 90 minutes. Every was Pokemon was available, even ones that were not released previously. This giveaway lasted from the 12th of May, 2015 to the 20th of May, 2015. Forum Event #1

5 Shadow Arceus (Electric) were being given away to 5 random people who replied to an official post by Pokemon Vortex on the forums. The first day to reply was the 4th of July, 2015, and the deadline was the 6th of July, 2015.

Kyurem Event

On the 8th of July, 2015, every player that defeated event trainers received an event ticket. After unlocking event center, players were required to buy a DNA Splicer for 500,000 . A DNA Splicer enabled players to fuse their Kyurem and Reshiram into Kyurem (White). Also, players had the option of fusing Kyurem and Zekrom into Kyurem (Black). On the 9th of July, 2015, an IRC Pokemon Vortex chat room giveaway began. Random Kyurem variants were given in chat every 30 minutes, or when 10 new members joined. The event, and chat giveaway, ended on the 20th of July, 2015. The event returned on the 21st of May, 2016. This event lasted until the 12th of June, 2016.

A twitch event began on the 7th of August, 2015. During this giveaway a which random Missingno. variant was given away every 30 minutes to one random person. This giveaway ended on the 23rd of August, 2015.

Zygarde Event

Zygarde event started on 2nd October 2015. DNA Splicer was required for this event. If you didnt buy it before the price was the same, 500,000 . Zygarde (Cell) was available on cave land maps during the day and night and could be found in it's Normal, Shiny, Dark, Mystic, Metallic and Shadow variants and had finding rate like every other non legendary Pokemon. Zygarde (Core) was available on cave land maps during the day and night and could be found in it's Normal, Shiny, Dark, Mystic, Metallic and Shadow variants and had finding rate like every other legendary Pokemon. There were also twitter and chat giveaway for Zygarde (Core). Zygarde (Partial) was available by fusing 10 Zygarde (Cell) and 1 Zygarde (Core). And finally Zygarde (Complete) was available by fusing 5 Zygarde (Partial) and 1 Zygarde. The event ended on 30th October 2015. The event returned on 22nd April 2016. and lasted until 20th May 2016.

Halloween Event

You earn event ticket by beating all event trainer. After unlocking event center there will be Creeper waiting to battle you. After beating him you recieve Normal Rotom (Halloween) and a chance to challange Creeper again. The second time he is a lot stronger and reward for beating him again is radnom Shiny, Dark, Mystic, Metallic or Shadow variant of Rotom (Halloween). The event lasted from 30th October 2015. until 2nd November 2015.
